While I have shot and liked my G23 and G27 for several years, I do not much care for the 40. I shot 9 in different makes for a long time. However after getting my G19 I have shot thousands upon thousands of rounds through it. The more I shoot it, the more I like the G19. It is just good in every way for me personally. I shot 1.5k rounds through it week before last and it never skipped a beat despite pouring rain, mud gunking mags and gun for several hundred rounds. Wiped it down and shot it more for the next 3 days. Dang it all, I like the heck out of that gun.

Bought a G 19 in 04 didn't even shoot a whole box of shells, in 07 decided to shoot it before I sold it, Mistake... put 500 rd. through it that day. Now own a G 26 also. I like to keep things separated, to keep confusion down an prevent mistakes, All my 9's are Glocks, 40's are S&W's and 45's are SA. No way to load the wrong mag. or get the wrong mag. in the wrong gun. Just my way. Watch out, Glocks tend to multiply, like fat chicks at a pizza buffet !!!

My first one was a G17 right around the Brady Bill, mid 80's(?). I forgot the date, it's been so long.

I will never trade or sell that one. It's like I'm married to it. And it's never let me down. She has a

bunch of brothers and sisters now. Enjoy your Glock!

My first glock was a gen3 19. Shortly thereafter, I picked up a 26 for day to day carry, and ended up selling the 19 because in my deranged mind I felt like having both the 26 and 19 was redundant. I've since picked up a 23 in RTF2. Excellent shooters. You can't go wrong with a Glock.
