I dunno the story (nor am I asking about it here), but I'm betting that's not uncommon.

No, it's not uncommon anywhere, anytime, when someone pushes the limit of what is acceptable and is removed from the ice and thrown into the penalty box for a period of time. No one likes getting their hand slapped. Fortunately most folks are mature enough to learn from their mistakes, accept that they alone are responsible for the actions leading to whatever disciplinary action there was, and takes it in stride.

Some folks refuse to do that and either throw a hissy fit or try to convince everyone else that they were wronged. It's not the first time that's happened here. :rolleyes:

It's funny how it's never the person or person's fault but it's always the mods LOL!

+1 I've gotten a vacation or two. It was always settled in private and we moved on. When people feel the need to bring up crap in the general forum is usually when it gets stirred up.
