I am looking to pick one of these up, I have read the reviews from a bunch of folks, just wondered if anyone on here had any personal experience with them. The RFB that is supposed to be coming out soon looks very interesting as well.

I own a SU-16, it's a nice piece, shoots well and is pretty accurate (it's as accurate as me.:D), It's not nearly as much fun to shoot as the PLR 16. Now that's a .223 worth playing with:D.

I too am waiting for the FRB, it was a toss up between the FRB and the Beretta RX-4 but found out the RX-4 is NOT going to happen. :) Seems the market for it is here in the US but import and export laws kept getting in the way.

Wow that's awesome. One thing I never liked about bullpups was the brass ejecting right by your face. Looks like this thing feeds the spent brass down a tube and out the front of the gun. That's pretty neat. If .308 wasn't so expensive I would be all over this.

The RFB looks like a pretty neat setup. The ejection scheme reminds me some of the FN FS2000.

I think Id be willing to wait for that instead of getting a su16 right now. Then again gun board 'wisdom' says get them both. :D

ETA: While KT products give the distinct impression of cheesy (read lots of plastic) Ive found them to be deceptively well designed, reliable and rugged.

I own a P3AT, and shot the SU2000 & 16. Both rifles, I thought, were an excellent value and shot well.

Thanks, I don't remember who or where I stole it from :(

I thought about waiting, but both does sound like a really good idea.

I have one of these. Nice, light, folding stock, uses AR mags. I have the Charlie model. Trying to decide between it and a Mini 14 that I have built with scout scope. Haven't had a chance to get them both to the range together to go head to head. Mini is definetly heavier, soaks up more of the recoil. I like the Garand-like action, simple and reliable, of the mini.

As for shooting the SU-16, it shoots well, mag changes are easy, but I have not decided on which scope I like best. Old eyes now require a scope of some kind for anything over 25 yards. Beyond that I tend to lose either the front sight or the target, so I currently like the long eye relief scopes.

Su is a user friendly gun, some accessories available, but don't relie on the fold down bipod for steady support. Most reports say it changes the POI and is somewhat shakey.
