For those of us in Bellevue, which restaurant? I want to make sure I avoid any gun-toting cooks! :D Just kidding - we need all the good guys packing that we can get.

Congrats on the job!

Always good to hear in these damn near impossible economic times. Congrats on the job. Let us know where it is so we can give you some business to make sure you stay employed.

Wish I had one. Pretty bad when you go for a minimum wage job and they wont hire you because they are not hiring due to the economy to begin with. How's a person supposed to find a job?

Well, as the fine folks at the TN Employment Office told a buddy of mine, you have to lower your expectations.

Don't throw things there.

Or if you do, don't come back and tell us, just make something up about how you lost the job. ;)

Seriously though, good luck and grats on finding gainful employment.

Post #8... didn't take long at all. ;)

I forgot all about that until then. Hi-larious! But to be fair, I haven't always taken the high road in workplace disagreements. I once told my supervisor "I've been doing your job for the past 2 1/2 years, why should today be any different?" Luckily though, that didn't get me fired. But I sure was out of there the first chance I got. Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Grats.

It might be best at least until you get to know your co workers, when it comes to talking about guns, be Grey at first. I know where I work there are allot of people scared to death of guns. Even have to be careful of who is in the room when talking about hunting and fishing where I work or else might often those higher ups that could make life more difficult then it needs to be.

Sorry about the delayed response. Kinda forget I started the thread. Ok, Applebees is opening up a new store off of HWY 100 in Bellevue. They are not posted. Somebody actually made it a point to tell them during orientation how to post if they wanted to. I nearly put my face in my palm but the manager said that they have not, and more importantly WILL NOT post. They said if someone has a firearm, is behaving, and not drinking, then to leave them alone. I was so happy to hear that. Opening day is something like the 13th or 15th, I don't know for certain. I'll be doing training at other stores until then. It's right next to the McDonald's right where Temple hits 100.
