I took my Daughter to see A Perfect Circle at the Firstbank Amphitheater last night. Highly recommend checking the venue out. We had a blast.

If you are into the blues this is one young man to keep an eye on.  He won several honors yesterday at the 45th annual blues awards held every year in Memphis.

He knows how to work a guitar.

Kingfish is a great player, singer, and song writer. I wish I'd been able to see him when he was in town a while back.  Missed Eric Gales too, but got to see Joe B.

I'm not much on movies overall, but I love vocals. Wish I had the range and talent of these guys.

I am 50 years old , grew up on 70's , 80s rock and now I listen to anything except RAP. I swear I don't like the new country , but I do like  the older 50,60 ,70 and 80s country BUT I heard this song the other day. It's by Megan Maroney called I'm Not Pretty. Listen to it if you are my age. I will put this youtube link below. I'm not a musician but it sounds like older country music with a steel guitar in the section of 1:27 and at 2:16. Either a steel guitar or that table top thingy that was used on the Ralph Emory Show in the 80s that was played. When I heard those parts it made me like the song. It's a new "teeny bopper" country song but the music is like stuff from the 80's country. I kinda like it. here's the link

The lead singer and founder of the band A Perfect Circle made the song "judith" about his mom. That song is awesome !

I’m usually listening to Sturgill Simpson, the White Buffalo, RATM, Rise Against, or Slipknot. I like Volbeat as well, and sometimes go a little more metal, Metallica, lamb of god, slayer, etc.
I’ve also really been into Keanu Reeves band, Dogstar.

Other days it might be old school punk, Grateful Dead, Jason Isbell, Billy Strings, some obscure old time bluegrass I’ve found (clawhammer banjo) or praise and worship lol.
My Spotify algorithm is very confused.

I have several Playlists for just that reason. I think pandora does a better job with that than spotify. You can create stations based on a few songs and develop it from there.
