In the "for what it's worth" department, I just spent this last weekend ripping MP3s from our entire CD collection, 'cause the wife finally got an MP3 player. Ended up taking a little over 7 gig worth of hard drive to hold 'em, even though it's not a huge collection, and I only used the 192 Kbps setting.
