Cover of The Rolling Stone, Dr. Hook & The Medicine Show.

I get on Grooveshark, http://grooveshark.com/, and set up my own playlist and listen to it while I am working on the computer at the office. Mostly 70's stuff, Allman Brothers, CCR, The Eagles, Skynrd, The Band, The James Gang, Three Dog Night, etc.

Just poured a drink and this one popped up on my play list.

That is one of my favorite Zeppelin songs. I really liked the long bluesy songs that never got airplay. I think that is where the band really shined.

Another one of my favorite Zep songs comes from the Presence album; "Tea for One". I think this album pretty much went unnoticed by most people. I can't think of any songs that really made it big from that album.

Here it is from the boys:

And, if anyone could do it better, it would of course be Joe Bonnamassa:

I'm with you. That's when they were at their best. I love ones like Tea For One, In My Time of Dying, Nobody's Fault But Mine or Travelling Riverside Blues.

When The Levee Breaks and the album version of Since I've Been Loving You are my favorites from Zep.

I am a recent convert to blues, and in my search to find new music, I happened upon Gary Moore. Not sure why I never heard of him before. He's got a wide range of music, from 80's hair to modern electric blues. I( certainly like him now, and I'm sure I would have liked him back in the 80's.

You've probably ran across these 2 from Gary but I'll post them anyway.

Joe released a new album a few weeks ago. Seems like this guy releases an album every six  months, and they just keep getting better.

Spent 3 hours today making .40 ammo and listening to Dream Theater. Listened to most of Images and Words, the 20th anniversary live album, Octavarium, and Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence.

It's amazing how much ammo you can make during just one song... when it's 42 minutes long! :-D

I discovered DT a few years ago and was amazed. I'd never heard anything that appealed to my inner metal head and band geek at the same time. It's like hard rock symphony. Good stuff.

I didn't know that the Franklin Theater had music events until seeing John Hiatt on Palladia last night.

Upon looking up their event schedule Samantha Fish and headliner Tab Benoit will be there Dec. 17.  :woohoo:
