I'd love to see an event move north every now and then. No rifles allowed at Guns & Leather (except in .22) though.

true... but they do rent the range out.

Cost depends a lot on when you are wanting to rent it and for how long.

But would be neat to have an "All TGO range" session.

Wish Dennis could have extended the range when they went to add on and all. :(

You know we could do one both days...:D That way people who conflict could make one of the days and those who are really trigger happy could go both days. :(

I have no problem spreading things around, it is only fair to cover several sides of town. My preference is for the current setup of Smyrna/Boro area though since it si easy for me to make. At least right now with the cold temps I would be less likely to make meets too far away. I like Guns and Leather's range quite a lot and would be happy to drive to the north side of town to go there if we could even get in there and get lanes on a weekend. Same goes for the Joelton range but are a few less eating options up that way.

I believe that as long as your rifle is in a "pistol" caliber (Dennis' words, not mine) that you can use their range.

I might try to make it that weekend as well. May just go to the Memphis shoot Friday, and head to Nashville Friday night for the Saturday shoot! Dunno, we'll see!

Sundays are fine with me. But if it's on a Saturday at On Target, Musicman and I could rock the place with our short barreled Mosins ;-) (and I could bring along a shorty 8mm too. Ooooo, boomers & thumpers!)

New guy here from Clarksville. Is the meet always in murfreesboro or does it happen in different places? Seems to me the new shooting complex over in South Side would be a great place to have a meet. thanks

Suggestion:

Being it's the 2nd already and now that it's down to either of those days, we should add a poll for places to eat and shoot so we can get that narrowed down.

I'm sure everyone would like the Mosin to make another appearance so it might help to consider that when listing places.

Doesn't matter to me I'm open for any place, had a great time last month.

:P

I've heard good things about that place, but have never been. Would be up for it moving north of Nashvegas every now and then.

You guys do know that Valentines Day if the 14th right. And since it a Thursdays the little woman will probably want you to take her out on the 16th.

And speaking of places to take the little woman, the ladies do seems to like Sernicolas in Cowan (shameless plug)...

I've got to work the gunshow in Franklin that weekend, so neither day works for me. I'd love to make another Meet & Greet, though. Maybe March will work out for me.

That's an interesting idea for where to go. A meet & eat and gun show visit. Any ranges in that area for shooting?

Owl Hollow is only maybe 15 minutes away. But it is an outdoor range and it could be pretty cold. Someone would need to have a membership, and then I believe each guest is $5.

Kind of off-topic, but would you choose the show in Franklin or the one at the Nashville fairgrounds the weekend before? I need to go to Nashville one of these 2 weekends and trying to decide which show to check out. Figure you may have some insight since you are a dealer.

Okay, the weekend which is being discussed is Valentine's Day weekend... It would still be doable to have our get-together that weekend, but in the interests of time, love, and possibly budget I'd like to know which weekend would work best for everybody.

Feb 16th

or,

Feb 23rd

Also, I'm assuming that we'll meet at Famous Dave's again, at 11:30.... unless we have another suggestion.

No doubts about it, the answer is Franklin. The Goodman show is ok, but not nearly as good as the Pope show.

Don't really count my vote as I'm not sure if I can make it either day, but between the two the 23rd is better for me as well.
