Does anyone live near Mountain City TN? Or SE of Johnson City.

I live on Signal Mountain and am finding it is getting very crowded and am looking to move away from the crowds and into the mountains. What are property prices like any good small towns. In general is it a good place to go to to get away from it? Any comments good or bad about this area would be gratefully received.

Did some work up there in the 90s. Very small town atmosphere and you can get up on a hill quickly from there. I liked it! Short haul across the hills to Boone, NC and other nice Carolina hills country.

Couldn't tell you what property prices are. Hit Google!

Unfortunately a bunch of folks from Florida and points north decided they like it there and property values have been rising rapidly.

I can't give you figures, but there should be some realtors online.
