If you switched to the new fixed width forum style and don't like it.(I didn't because my screen is wide enough to look nice original).

Here are some steps to fix it back:

Depending on your browser, you may have to click the fixed width forum type first and hit submit; then change it to subdued, submit.

Should be back to normal now!

Yes. It is the reverse procedure of what got you there in the first place. ;)

Actually, David posted a link that automatically changed the format when you clicked the link.

Actually that style may become the default and the other may go away. Designing for a 990 pixel width is the commonly accepted norm for most professionally designed sites so that it looks the same no matter what width your monitor is. Many major web sites use 990 px.

plus, I like it so.....\

seriously though the steps are not this difficult. The drop down is the fastest and easiest way. TBH I didn't realize someone could not know.

Why don't you keep the "Subdued" style, and maybe a few others, for people to choose from. This is the only forum that I am a member of that members can't choose their own preferred style.

Eh? You can choose a preferred style here at the moment. I don't understand your statement. Most forums don't give you the option.

My bad. Last time I checked to see if there were other styles to switch to, there weren't. That was about a month ago, though. Sorry for not checking first.

We've had them for much, much longer than that though. I think you just hadn't noticed them before now. :)
