Having problems with WOLF SP Primers pukehead.gif Talked with Wolf rep on Friday and he advised that the cups are harder and the only guns having the problem is 9mm (all?) Went shooting yesterday and sure enough had 15-20 miss fires with Springfield XDM 9bawling.gif So if reloading with Wolf Primers don't use ammo for life saving purpose any caliber.

I don't think that I would put a blanket statement like that.. I have personally been using them for three years now.. and never had a problem out of them.. I would suspect that just maybe your firing pin is not hitting them hard enough. Also.. it is not totally wise to use reloads for self-defense. I use the Wolf Small Rifle Magnums in my forty.. no hitches what so ever.

I also use Wolf and have no issues. I have tried numerous other brands but when I switched to Wolf my SD shrunk substantially. I will say this that Wolf primers are a bit harder to seat than any other brand I have triend but other than that they have been great. I use Small Rifle Magnum and Large Pistol.

Shot about 400 small rifle and another 100 of the 5.56 primers (I think sometimes labeled small rifle magnum) this weekend with 100% success. It will be a few more weeks until I can do any accuracy testing but so far everything went boom when it was supposed to.
