In the right corner of the door (I almost missed it) there is a small sign saying per 39-17-1359 no guns allowed except LEO's on official duty. So does this fit the substantially similar clause?

dunno but i stopped eating there because of the sign. I contacted the manager to inform them why i would not be dinning there anymore. That sign means they dont want my money.....regardless to the legality (i am 99% sure it is a legal posting.) Please take your money to a restaurant that appreciates my business and your constitutional rights.

After years of being in the restaurant business, i really don't understand how a business can take the chance on posting. In this industry, every customer counts. The margins are very small and most restaurants industry wide have taken a hit in the last few years. These decisions really do not make sense to me. I'll be stepping off my soap box now.

I like the bit about Except LEO's on official duty. I read that to mean, once we kick out the law abiding citizens and the bad guys hold us up, we welcome LEO's to come rescue us. However if you are an Off Duty LEO out with your family leave your piece at home.

I gave them a No Gun No Money card and went to Cheddars down the st on Eastmen Rd.

We have eaten there a few times when I must go to Kingsport, will not be going again. As a restaurant owner myself, I have no idea how they can afford to purposely run off an entire group of customers.

Like someone else said, they don't even want LEO to carry. Unbelievable.

I dont know if the sage brush in oak ridge is posted or not. It has been a while since I have eaten there.
