who? the invaders. I normally open my door with a gun behind my leg after dark. To many weird people roaming around.

beat me to it. however, regardless of the time of day/ night I always answer the door armed and ready. then again answering the door wrapped in a towel w/ a gun tucked into my 'waistband' didn't do the girl scouts any good :rolleyes:. JUST KIDDING!

You never know who it is that is knocking, typically friends call first.

I always have a gun at hand when answering the door. Too many horror stories begin "she answered the door and found two guys there asking to use the phone because their car broke down."

I wonder if any of these home invasions were perpetrated by marauding bands of homosexual English lords. If so, I'm now ready for 'em.

The only time anyone has shown up at our door unexpected in five years were two Jehova's Witnesses. I pretty much told them they were trespassing and had no business at my home. I pointed to the road a few hundred yards away and said "GIT"

I generally try to open the door with a plate of double chocolatechip cookies.

(Fresh baked prefered, but not always ready.)

Hahaha!!! Behold the power of fresh baked cookies! :D

Some say thay the Double Chocolate Chip cookies are overkill...

But as you all can see... you never know who may be knocking

at your door. Better to be pack'n the Doubles! LOL!!!
