All the goodies I needed finally came together and I built a budget yote blaster.

Started with this hunk of aluminum with a bunch of holes in it.

Added a bunch of springs and hammered in a couple of roll pins..... and Wallah!

Shoots pretty good too. I'm saving the good ammo for the 100-200 yard testing.

Target says: .84 inch 5 shot group @ 50 yards. Shooting cheap wolf .55gr fmj. Not too bad for my cruddy shooting.

Build parts:

Spikes stripped lower.

Double Star parts kit.

Jse Surplus custom upper.

Moe Stock. (Gonna get a fixed stock for it eventually.)

Cheap rail riser...(I think I am just going to buy a nice set of high rings in the future.)

Burris 3x9-40 scope.

Not bad at all. Attaboy! Nice looking gun.

That shooting is good enough for the ammo used. Your AR is similar to the one I had a friend build up out of mostly Delton parts. For my purpose a 3-9 scope might have made more sense over my 1.5-4x20 scope cause those 400meter shots make my "old" eyes work.
