Who still sells CCI Blazer .45 ACP in east TN?

Recommended Posts

I used to buy CCI Blazer .45 and it was good range ammo. It shoots clean and is consistent, but our local Walmart quit selling it. I used to get .45 ACP for about $18/box of 50, but the only place to buy it locally now is the ONLY gun store in the area and they jacked the price up to $25 a box when Wally World quit selling it. I travel to Knoxville a couple times a month and could pick up a bunch, but it's getting hard to find on shelves.

The Federal that WalMart sells is the same stuff, different box...so they say.

That seems to be Walmart's battle cry when they don't have a clue what they're selling..."It's all the same!" LOL. Plus, our Walmart just quit selling Federal handgun ammo. They even tried telling me that Tula brand was made in the same factory as Remington & Winchester!?! Hello...giant red letters that say "MADE IN RUSSIA".

I haven't found it at that price. I just said I'd never pay over that. For some reason, the times I do see it, it's listed for more than brass ammo. :)

I've never tried the brass. Nobody sells it where I live so I've never compared the price. It does seem odd that the aluminum would be more. Maybe cause not many companies use aluminum? I like it for the range because it shoots clean and consistant. Thanks.
