BATJAC Trapdoor rifles/bear traps

Hey all,

Just wanted to see if anyone had any knowledge on BATJAC stamped rifles. My father who lives in Montana is a gun collector and is bringing some of his personal collection down to Tennessee to sell over the holidays. He recently acquired two trapdoor rifles that date back to the late 1800's that are both stamped "BATJAC". After some research we found that "BATJAC" is John Wayne's production company. The old timer he bought the rifles from said he was told they were used in the tv show "Bonanza". One of the rifles is also stamped "ORE", maybe the 1936 Wayne film Oregon Trail? Does anyone have any further knowledge about these jewels? My Dad is also selling one the coolest bear/wolf trap collections ever if anyone is interested.
