Fogive me for shouting, but I'm in....REMISSIOM!!! Just got back in from Sarah Cannon Cancer Center...got my CT and PET scan results today. It's gone. I am officially in remission. My leukemia is gone. The lymphatic cancer and tumors are gone. I just want to shout, scream and laugh. Not to mention crying for a while too.

I'm sorry, but I've got to say it. It's over. I'm in Remission. I couldn't bear to say the word for fear of it not happening. But, after 28 months of surgery, drugs, and radiation; I can say it now.

For a while there, I didn't know if I'd be here doing this now or not. It's been quite a journey, long, hard and unpleasant, painfull and joyfull, and one I pray not to take again.

It's been hard, the hardest thing I've ever done. But throughout it all, I've had help. I've had family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors beside me. And I want to thank them all...my work friends and customers, my GM who kept me on the company insurance plan just a little longer than Corporate liked; long enough to get threatened with his own job loss when the treatment cost really got high. Thank you and Bless you, RT.

But most of all; my strong faithful wife who wouldn't let me get down and wallow in fear and pity; my late Mother, who never gave up, never stopped praying, and never left my side during treatments til her own health prevented her from geting out of bed and going with me. And then I think she prayed harder still. She wouldn't leave til we got a hopefull diagnosis. But she couldn't wait for today...she was called home to be with Dad, my Ma and Pa, and her God. But I know she saw and heard today. I know she was there. Just like the last one I have to thank here.

So...Thank you Lord; for seeing me thru this trial, for loving family and friends, and giving me the chance to say all this. To thank You and all in my life now; the life I get to keep a little longer because of You.

And to all reading this, I hope you are not offended by my story, every word is there for the purpose of Thanks to all involved. And because I felt this necessary to be told...for me, my wife, and Mom.

Obviously you still have business here to complete. Find out what it is and make it count. Don't ever forget who got you here from start to finish. All others were just support group. These are the stories that bring tears to your eyes. This is great news and it has made my tiresome day seem......less tiresome! All is right with the world......
