"Oregon Trail" was quite the rage back in the day. "Leisure Suit Larry" really wowed us.

I remember playing Leisure Suit Larry on a Commodore 64 or an old Tandy. We had a blast thinking it was so cool that we could type in all those dirty words.

We got to play Oregon Trail, also on a IIe, if we finished our English assignments. My buddy and I used to finish our English work 30 days ahead so we could just had it in and go play. When Mr. Marcy got wise to that scheme he made us actually do the work then. But it worked for quite a while.
