Roger that. LOL. I too often judge a movie by its title.

I enjoyed the movie (Fear and Loathing...), but the books are where it's at for pure craziness. If you haven't read his stuff, you're missing out. I don't know what it is about his work, but in spite of the fact that I stand for 90% of the things he despises (we agree on guns and explosions, and chemical excess to a limited extent), it's near impossible to put the books down. Sign of a great writer.

At one time, I used this as an avatar:

It's a picture of HST drawn by Ralph Steadman (the illustrator from "Fear and Loathing" among others), that now appears on Flying Dog Brewery's "Gonzo Imperial Porter". It's ~8% alcohol, so you have to pick it up at da likka sto, but if you like dark malty beers with some serious hops on the side, it's worth a shot.
