What was your favorite Halloween costume or story?

Ok Vontar's thread about looking for a costume gave me an idea. I'm BIG on Halloween, it's got alot of good memories for me and is still my favorite time of year. So I thought it might be fun to share some Halloween stories, etc.

So basically what was your favorite costume you ever did or a favorite Halloween memory? It can be from when you were a kid to now, funny, scary, mischievous, etc.

Hope so too man. I've always done alot of different stuff but I think my favorite costume thus far was the year I went as The Mummy. It was my last year trick-or-treating and my friend and I went through the whole neighborhood with pillow cases for our last year. lol We were dead by the time we got done and I don't think we ate most of the candy, took alot of it to school and shared. That was back when "Pete and Pete" was on Nickelodeon and that's what they did for their last year on the show so of course we had to emulate it lol

Since I fit the part in several ways, I once went to a party as the Jolly Green Giant. I used about 20 bright green eyeshadow crayons to cover my face and neck, arms and legs. It took about a week to get all the green off.

This year I'm going as a door.

I read this somewhere so I didn't come up the idea.

You go to homedepot and get a pre hung door. Paint, fix it up, whatever. Put a note on the door that says "knock please"

Get buddy and start ringing doorbells. When they open the door they'll see your door with the "knock please" note. They'll knock. When they do, open the door, say "Happy Holloween" throw some candy in their dish and shut the door. Make small talk "Oh, weren't those costumes great" or something and move to the next house after they shut the door.

Here is my story. My gf wanted us to do a couples costume since it was our first Halloween together. This was mistake number 1.

So we went to the store and got a slutty cop outfit and I went to a hospital scrubs store to buy orange scrubs. This was mistake number 2.

So we get our stuff on and hop in the Durango and head on out to Cleveland for the block party. Our friend calls us and gives us directions and I am on the exit as she relays the exit number to me so I hit the brakes hard and they lock up and skid on gravel so I lose control. This was mistake number 3.

I cant gain control so I hit the concrete barricade head on doing about 30mph. I somehow manage to regain some control and aim for the right spot so we would jump the barricade and land on it instead of clearing it completely and fly down a huge ditch or hit the barricade at too high of a spot and demolish the car. So we get stuck on the barricade and I ask if shes alright and she is so I get out when I see a truck stop behind us and the driver get out. He sees me and stops makes a quick 180 and jogs back to his truck and speeds off. Im thinking wtf what an azzhole. It then dawns on me what I am wearing and I start to laugh. A few minutes go by and I am on the phone with my parents telling them what happened when I hear sirens. Cop pulls up.....sees me....draws gun.....makes me lay on ground.....im now thinking wtf. girlfriend gets out and cop sees her and my gf kinda freaks out but doesnt say anything and then the cop starts laughing. He runs my ID and comes back saying he thought I was an escaped convict from the Bradley jail because they have had a few escapes recently.....and here comes mistake number 4....I WAS WEARING THE SAME DAMN UNIFORM THEY ISSUE!!!!!

He asks if everything is alright and he waits with us till our friend shows up with his SUV to pull us off the barricade. Our friend gets there and the cop leaves. So we hook up both cars and try to get em off and its not working. The one time I could have used AWD and I didnt have it. Anyways, my friend is getting frustrated and he is like you hop in mine and Ill get yours off and Im thinking no you wont. So he gets in and floors it with the door open. Now the Durango automatically locks the doors at 25mph. Here comes mistake number 5.

He gets out and SHUTS THE DOOR with the car running. Yup you guessed it, he locks the keys in the car with the car running and my jacket in the car. So now my car is sitting on the barricade running with under a quarter tank of gas. I am laying on top of the hood trying to keep warm cause its cold as balls outside. His wife and my gf go on in their car and go to the party while he and I wait on the tow truck to pull us off and unlock the doors. That finally happens and we get to their house where we meet up with the women who have a story of their own. They were walking down the street in a slutty cop and a slutty nurse outfit. A car drives past them then stops ahead and turns around and slowly drives alongside then asking if they wanted a ride. Both girls covertly pull out knives and open them up and make a shortcut through some yards to get back to our friends house. After all of that we missed the party LOL.
