Myself and brother both recieved our permits in the mail today. Now i can schedule a wally walk on my next day off. Would start carrying tommorrow but my work policy is strictly No guns in vehicle or on the property. So will only be able to carry on days off. That really sucks.

Ummmmm it isnt against the law. If you have a gun and are caught with it the worst they can do is FAR YA (aka fire ya). My last company had a no guns policy in their hand book and was not posted. I left my gun locked in my car during work hours in the parking lot no less and never told anyone I had a permit. Left the 40 cal up under the drivers seat and the 45 1911 up under the passenger seat.

thanks everyone it good to be in the HCP family. As far as carrying to work, they do random searches there for stolen property and such, and i would hate to lose my job. Was out of work for a year and no insurance. Just now getting back close to even on my bills. (trying to save for a new toy also)

As for the HCP badge, don't think i would go that route. I may opn carry some but mostly will go concealed. Glad that i can now carry even while archery hunting, and on WMA'S all year round.

Do you have a place to park your car that is not considered work property?

My work in a shopping center and just don't park infront of my store.
