Looking for 1000 9mm plinking bullets. Prefer jacketed or plated but guessing lead will work fine. I can't seem to find any decent prices. Being new to reloading I don't really know where to look other than midway or cabellas.

For local pickup, the evil Walmart usually has them for $9.47 for 50, but that may have gone up to $9.97. Either way they are a good local option for most.

If you keep an eye on online guns classifieds you may find something. Try:

tngunowners.com (wait I think you already knew that) :)

armslist.com (search the whole USA and ask whoever has them to tell you what they would charge for shipping)

thehighroad.org (you have to be a member, but they have a great classified section)

My two main sources, Precision Delta and Missouri Bullet Co, have already been mentioned. Occasionally, if I find a good deal, I'll order some of the Berry's plated bullets from Grafs or whoever else might have 'em on sale.

Try these guys. Roze Didtribution. They sell Zero Bullets. Free shipping. I have used both their 9mm and .45ACP bullets. All are FMJ. And try Magnus Bullets to. I have used their .45ACP 230 grain FMJ. They charge for shipping. gearyr

The price on the zero's looks too good to believe. Any downside to them?
None that I have seen...I use their 9mm FMJ, 45 FMJ, and I recently have been using their 45 JHP's...they work great in my guns.

I use Zeros in .40 180 JHP, 9MM 125 JHP, .38 125 JHP, and .45 230 JHP. And I use A LOT. Never had a reloading issue that I could attribute to the bullets. They were the first one I bought at Reloader's Bench when I started reloading, liked em, and never have had a reason to try anything else.
