well it's finally happened, my son in law lost his job today.:wall::wall::wall::wall::wall: Anyone know anyone around east Tn. hiring, he has been doing case pick at Peytons for the last 3 1/2 years, was a deputy in Spartenburg, SC before that, and a mcminn county jailer also.

Willing to work any job.

PM me if you know of any where there might be hope.

If Knoxville isn't too far of a drive, we will have a position open as a loader on our night crew soon. It is case picking, so he has some experience at that.

Good luck on that. I have applied to over 65 places in the last two months and no one is hiring. Not tractor supply, not lowes, not walmart, not taco bell, not radio shack, and not the farmers co-op and nothing really in chattanooga. It is pretty bad when even minimum wage jobs (which I dont normally work but will cuz I am desperate) are not hiring. That just goes to show how fubard our economy really is. I have even applied to places in knoxville, still a no go.

Its tough out there right now, believe me....

Been looking for the last two years for a full time job. I'm in retail doing part time now tho.

I just found out we hired 3 new assistant managers in my district. They are the first in 2 years. It might be worth it to put an app in with Walgreens if you have some management experience or a degree. I don't know if we are going to be bringing anymore on but might be worth a shot.

You know walgreens was one place in chattanooga that I didnt put in. I know the one here in dayton is full.
