Well first off wanted to introduce my self, names sean. I've been one here from time to time looking at the clasifieds, but haven't posted anything yet.

I just moved to south knoxville from chattanooga and am looking for good places to shoot for free. Haven't been able to get a round off up here outside of the dove opener. I had a few good places in chattanooga that everyone shot at, probably weren't legal but nobody cared. If anyone could point me in the direction of places like this Ie: non official dumps, public ranges, or just any place y'all know of that "allows" shooting (not too concerned with legality, just what's generally accepted) that would be awesome.

Welcome! I grew up in Chattown. As for free places to shoot... make friends with someone who owns a farm.

Don't know any free places to shoot there but welcome to TGO.

As close to free as you'll find on an actual public range is the Norris range. $40 June to June.

The more you go, the cheaper each visit.

Free? As far as I know there isnt one. Even john seveir charges like five bucks.
