Well, I did it. I slipped on ice at work this morning and broke my shoulder. So I decided to look at it as ab opportunity instead of a problem. Since I only have the use of one arm, how will I load magazines for my pistols, and for my new ak47? Tips, suggestions? I know some here have training, did any of that training cover the very real possibility of being wounded/disabled in one arm? From what I have read since joining, I think that Marswolf might have some good suggestions. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

It would have been quicker and safer to just move the shotgun over the guy's head instead of covering his feet with it.

I can get the mags into the pistol, its getting the rounds into the magazines. Sorry about not being clear. Dang its hard to type with one hand!

Jeeze, yeah. If the people that taught me ever saw me doing that or allowing that in my classes, they'd use that shotgun on me.

The guy with the shotty appears to be the newbie in this scenario. Doesn't appear to be steady or stable at all. Watch his hands and functioning. Not someone that I'd want standing behind me with an ice cream cone, let alone muzzle sweeping my ankles every second shot or so. I wonder what type of official training this is? or which agency this is practicing?

We all have to learn some time, but I agree, going over the head would be better than to the ankles.

One word: LULA. The "end all, be all" of mag loaders. I have one for my AR and my AK. You can load one handed with them.

I had a chance to use their pistol version this weekend. I have hated every other "speed loader" I ever tried, but I liked their version so much that I ordered one from MidWay.

I've never used their pistol version. I need to try it though. I love my LULAs for my AR and AK though.
