Well, I did it. I slipped on ice at work this morning and broke my shoulder. So I decided to look at it as ab opportunity instead of a problem. Since I only have the use of one arm, how will I load magazines for my pistols, and for my new ak47? Tips, suggestions? I know some here have training, did any of that training cover the very real possibility of being wounded/disabled in one arm? From what I have read since joining, I think that Marswolf might have some good suggestions. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Come on Mars, let me try and "snatch the pebble from your hand.":D

hmm, maybe get one of those mag loader thingies that you push down with your thumb and attach it to your cast?

lol...kinda hard to imagine that one....unless you had that mag loader thingy embedded to your cast? :D

Jeeze, yeah. If the people that taught me ever saw me doing that or allowing that in my classes, they'd use that shotgun on me.

in vid 1,the guy with the shotgun is pretty useless.he does not remove the safety until the other guy gets off 8 shots.would hate to see that in a real situation

The guy with the shotty appears to be the newbie :D in this scenario. Doesn't appear to be steady or stable at all. Watch his hands and functioning. Not someone that I'd want standing behind me with an ice cream cone, let alone muzzle sweeping my ankles every second shot or so. I wonder what type of official training this is? or which agency this is practicing?

Where did you get yours? Locally, or online?

One word: LULA. The "end all, be all" of mag loaders. I have one for my AR and my AK. You can load one handed with them.

http://www.maglula.com/

I had a chance to use their pistol version this weekend. I have hated every other "speed loader" I ever tried, but I liked their version so much that I ordered one from MidWay.

Great product and extremely easy to use.

I've never used their pistol version. I need to try it though. I love my LULAs for my AR and AK though.

I haven't seen any, no. But the only places I really frequent are Gander(:)) and Coal Creek.

I think MidWayUSA.com carries them.

They do. I linked to it earlier, but he was asking for any locally, which there are none to my knowledge.
