And the sad thing is, I could probably either be expelled, suspended, or forced to change shirts if I wore any of those to school....

That's the wonderful thing about being in college . . . VERY relaxed (read: almost nonexistant) dress code. I could have gotten away with a couple of those in high school, probably, but they would be toeing the line.

The only politically-oriented shirt I own is an "Anyone But Hillary '08" T-shirt, and surprisingly 4 of my 5 professors love it.

High School students have no rights. Might as well just put bars on the windows. (Actually, I imagine some schools have already done that.)

I would enjoy setting fire to most of those t-shirts, but its clear to me that people should be able to wear them. (and yes, "people" includes high school students.) I occasionally have to go to high schools as part of my job. I am just stunned at what goes on and what does not go on at many of them.

Oh, and I completely disagree with the cat shirt. Mine is neutered and I think she is very conservative.:D
