Guaging interest for new AOW

Hey guys,

We have been noticing that those "pen guns" are hard to find now. Since stinger went out of buisness a few years back they have dried up. We have all the tooling and resources to start manufacturing our own pen guns. Before we pay for the stamp and other legal paperwork I am trying to guage interest on some various NFA boards. We would most likely offer single shot 22lr and 32 acp, with ideas of a 380. Total ink pen looking single shots, I have a draft drew up for a safety system and firing set up with a push button trigger on a striker fired type design. could even make the end of it threaded with a cap so you would attatch a can to it. From my research right now I believe i could sell these around the 249 price mark. If the interest is there I will begin getting the legal process started for a firearms buisness. Thanks.

If you could keep the price at $250 or under I would be in for one in .22LR. I would definitely be interested in a setup where I could attach my Gemtech Outback II can.

Is the Federal stamp $200 or $5 or something else? I have had one before and would get another of the price was right.

It should be $5 since it is an AOW.

For 250 and a $5 tax stamp it would be my first NFA item.

Awesome guys. Still trying to work some things out with the partners but I will defintaely keep everyone posted. and yes it would be an AOW so the tax stamp would only be $5.

I'll take one in .308 :(

I'd be in for a .22 mag.

As long as we're giving input - I think a .22 mag would be a realistic calibre for this. More power than a .22 lr. Anything bigger and you have a larger diameter cylinder and more recoil. I'd buy it in .22 mag.

I was just thinking 22 mag when brainstorming with some friends/partners. Than 22 mag round CCI makes loaded with speer golddots would be a single shot wonder. Anyone know the operating pressure for a 17 HMR ?

I'd definitely buy one for $250 out the door.

I'm guessing somewhere ~26,000 PSI, but I bet a call to Hornady would answer that one...

I still want one in .22LR so I can use it with my silencer so maybe you can make me two...one in .22LR and one in 22 mag...LOL

I'd want one in 380 if you can keep it in the $250 price range.

If your gonna have it threaded for a can you cant rightly use .22lR, thats not tactical enough, gotta chamber it in FN 5.7mm :)

Seriously though wouldnt 5.7mm be as good or better than .22mag, plus it would be centerfire instead of rimfire, dont know which is easier to make
