Wolff Spring Experience?

I have a Taurus 856 that I have been thinking about putting a spring kit in. Does anyone have any experience with this? I understand some other models can be problematic with the Wolff kit, but things seem okay with the 85. Just wanted to know if you all have tried them.

I have put spring kits in other pistols, that being said, some work and some don't! You have to put them in and try them out to ensure that you do not affect the integrity of the pistol. Remembering that you could be betting you like on it! I have always used wolf springs in my 1911's never had a problem. I don't know what the laws are in Tennessee, but in NJ, if the gun is not stock, and you use it, the lawyers will paint you as a serial killer!

I put a Wolff kit in my S&W 637. Works great. The trigger is almost scary light in single action mode. I wouldn't be afraid to try one of their kits on any revolver. About the only thing that can go wrong would be light hammer strikes. That's easy to reverse. I would do some reading on the Internet to avoid any pitfalls in the installation.

I have zero experience with Taurus revolvers.

Simple... stay out of NJ . Always works for me

I had a spring and trigger job done on m Ruger sp101 by the smith at G&L, what a difference, don't think I would it my self.

I have done spring jobs on Glocks, very easy to do

I've got Wolff springs in my SP101 and in my 1911. Works like a charm.

Wolf springs are considered the best.. I wouldn't hesitate to use them.. I have and will again.

I've got a kit in my 92FS and after some "fitting" it seems to work pretty good. The kit that I have wasn't made for the triggers that are polymer, not sure why it's polymer, so I had to remove some of the trigger to make it work. The trigger pull feels good though and in single action it's extremely crisp. I would get them again, looking into a springer precision kit for my XD that's next.

I have them in a couple of my 1911s... I like them alot - reliable, and really improved feeling.
