T's barbecue on the way towards Pigeon Forge is some of the best barbecue I've had the pleasure of eating.

Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg have always struck me as Myrtle Beach without the ocean - miles of tourist traps and bad food.

As I recall, the Hard Rock Cafe in G'burg isn't posted and the food is OK.

Alright, I've Googled every variation of T's Barbecue (BBQ, Bar B Que, etc.) that I can think of and am getting nowhere. I love good barbecue. I have been known - especially when somewhere out of town - to stop at two or three different barbecue joints, consecutively, and try a small sandwich at each just to be able to compare them (my wife calls those occasions my 'barbecue crawls', like some folks do pub crawls.) The best barbecue I have had around here, lately, is at Full Service in Maryville. I have never heard of this T's so could you please provide more detail (more specific location or a phone number where I could call them, etc.) We wander in the direction of PF, GB, Sevierville pretty often and I would certainly not be beyond driving up there just to try some good barbecue. Heck, we used to drive down to Cleveland to get barbecue at a place called Phil's Country Biscuit and Barbecue (now closed, sadly - was some of the best, if not the best, I have ever had.)

Maybe he means Tony Gore's on Winfield Dunn?
