I-81 truck stop ?

I'm taking a trip north this week and need some info.

I know there's a truck stop on I-81 that has a gun shop in it. Does anyone know where it is or which exit it's on?

I think it's in Va.

the guns are not there anymore...they just sold out and the new owner removed them and alot of other neat stuff if it is the same one I'm thinking of

Buttonhook, you are correct, sir. It's White's truck stop, and the family just sold it.

The guns and motorcycles are gone.

Apparently the truckers are happy that Pilot inc. didn't get it.

Another institution gone, I guess.

That's the same one I was thinking of but was not sure so I did not say anything. That place was special and of all the truck stops in this country only a handful of them are what I would call special, the I-80 and JJ's or TJ's in southwest AR come to mind but there sure isnt many.

Even though I no longer drive I am also glad it did not become a Pilot....anyone know if a chain did get it or if it will still be private owned?

For me it was just that I preferred the mom and pops over the chains. For others it may be different.

Just returned from a trip to south Fl. Pilots had the most expensive fuel the whole way. Guess Haslam has to pay for his campaign.

Owned by hipocrite haslam. Mr I am pro gun yet was a part of a mayors against guns task force while in office and did not join the NRA until after he started his campaign for gubnor.

What is wrong with Pilot? They price gouge - like when we had the pipeline issue - they went up to $5-6 a gallon, and got fined by Tennessee over it.
