I have a hard time explaining to people what I do for a living as an ROV pilot, here is a comprised video, Innovator 8 use to be my ROV and I flew the ROV on a lot of the footage here, Fortunately I no longer work in the Gulf of Mexico and will never have to deal with a situation like the spill in the Gulf ever again

That is pretty cool. I bet at times it gets stressful though.

I just get to sit in an office and help people with their PCs.

Every now and then I get to talk to the people on the oil platforms. Truth be told i would rather deal with them then anyone in the main offices. They just want to get their PC fixes so they can return to work, while the people in the office are always looking for someone to blame.

It can be very stressful indeed that is part of what makes it fun for me, in all honesty I have been doing it so long now that anything else would drive me crazy

Really cool. Sure the heck beats my job. I get to stay in the lab all day trying not to blow up anything in my face, which actually happened three weeks ago (had way too much going on and wasn't paying attention to what I was doing), trying to figure out how someone in the plant people screwed up a reaction, and arguing with the sales staff. I still haven't figured out why they think that just because I have a degree in chemistry that I am supposed to know all things related to chemistry. The pay is halfway decent, but it sure does suck at times.
