Good rangebag?

I currently use the the Midway USA and love it. Like others, I find the shoulder strap a bit inadequate with a load. May look for another bag this Christmas.

Did you get the email from them about sending you a free replacement strap?

I did. They said they were getting lots of complaints so Larry Potterfield had several thousand more straps made up with tighter buckles. I responded to the email, and two days later had a new one in hand. It is definitely tighter.

Hey. I was just flying by and I noticed this thread.

I looked at the many bags suggested in this thread (Midway, LA Police Gear, etc.) and they all look excellent.

I just happen to have an inclination toward HARD-SIDED storage.

I just went to Lowe's and to Big Lots and bought their plastic tool boxes. I have six tool boxes, usually four in use at one time. Even the most expensive tool box that I bought cost $17 (from Lowes)

At the present time, I use them only when I go to the range for practice.

They seem to work out well for me.

Just a suggestion.

I have been making do. After reading this thread, I ordered the Midway bag.

You'll be happy. Then you'll want something less cumbersome...lol

I use a rest a lot (caldwell Rock and rear bag). I'm used to bulky. I've been using a piece of carry on luggage to hold all my crap. At Stones River, you gotta drag everything through the inspection hut. If I shot at a place like Southside all the time, I may not have spent the money.
