The Memphis Friends of NRA Committee will kick off the new year with the first meeting of 2008 on Feb. 5th. The meeting will be at RangeUSA in the small classroom, and will start at 7 pm.

This will be a year of rebuilding for the Memphis Committee, as we lost several veteran members and sponsors last year.

So, please join us on Tuesday, Feb. 5th. The cause is worthwhile, and your help would be appreciated.

All, here is an email sent by Mike Webb on Sunday:

Memphis Friends,

We are having our first meeting of 2008 on Tuesday, February 5th at 7PM. The location is RangeUSA, 2770 Whitten Road, Memphis (just off Summer Ave.).

I didn't realize this was Election Day when I set the meeting schedule for the year. I'm early voting to avoid the hassles and would suggest the same if at all possible. It makes voting much easier.

I set the schedule with Scott at RangeUSA well ahead so it will not cause a conflict with any of the scheduled events at RangeUSA. A special thanks to Scott for donating us the meeting room.

Please plan to attend this meeting and bring a friend. We can never have too many people to help. I've included an attachment hopefully with some ideas to help us recruit some new volunteers, and I'll have the NRA Foundation to send an email blast to all NRA members in Shelby county. Thanks for all the help & support. I'll see you at the meeting.

Your Friend in the NRA,

Mike Webb
