Freebies for a Kindle?

I got a Kindle a couple months ago and am loving it. Anybody have any tricks to finding deals on books, mags, etc for it?

The public library system, you can check out ebooks online if you have a library card

I have not used Kindle yet, I have the software on my droid. However I will say I have a co worker that has Kindle software on his IPAD and said he is finding all kinds of free books. So they have to be out there.

Go to the store on the Nook, go to shop, go to search, in the search bar type 0.00 it will take a minute or 2 but it brings up over 9000 free ebooks that can be downloaded immediately directly from B&N to your Nook all free, I have got over 80 so far

EDIT: I just checked there are over 1 million titles on there for free now

The only bad thing about it is you cannot search for a specific title, sorta frustrating but for free we can't complain

Amazon has an entire category of free e-books. They're mostly repeats from Project Gutenberg and the like, though.

yeah, these are the ones I've been looking at the most. every now and then you can find some good stuff.
