Church carry?

I carry every service as well. many people have seen it when my shirt rode up or my jacket blew open while walking. Now, most people, even the youth, know that I am armed to the teeth (yes, I carry a back up too). Definitely makes for a much more orderly youth group meeting when I am there. Nobody in the church is offended in the least that I carry, the people that sit near me in church even keep the isle seat empty for me at the beginning of the service (I sing in the choir and then take my seat). I even had one lady ask a visitor to "please come sit here so that our protection can be in place". The visitor moved next to the lady but had an awkward look on her face over the request. When I came in and sat in my seat, the lady said, "I was talking about him". She saw my gun when I got up to sing. Still comes, still sits near me, and talks to me all the time. We have about 8 people armed in our church and we all pretty well sit in tactical positions, but one of the deacons (who carries) and I are working on an actual seating plan to implement.

How difficult is it to clear your choir robe in order to make an efiicient draw?

When I am standing, it is just a matter of yanking up on my robe. I would do that while running for cover. once drawn, I'm ok. When I sit, I pull up the back of my robe and it is just like pulling my shirt tail up. Or, I can just unzip the robe and grab my gun.

Maybe if you used a Snuggie it would be easier to draw... You could just swoop around the back and draw it, instead of having to pull up or unzip....

not a chance in the world of me wearing a snuggie...well, maybe if I could get a camo one!

However, a camo snuggie would look kinda funny if I am surrounded by choir robes. Sometimes I carry one in my Bible case, depends on which Bible I am carrying. My two edged sword comes with accessories!
