I buddy of mine was just at the range and a guy picked up his GSG-5 he ordered and stepped up to the line with it. My buddy drooled on it and fondled it a bit, and said the build and finish is terrific on them. He's lookin hard for one right now.

I bought mine last weekend at Hero Gear... It's the only one I've seen in person. It was also the only one he had in stock.

If you're in/near Tri-Cities, I'd be happy to let you shoot mine sometime.

They've got one at the Gander Mountain in West Knoxville. $499 and some change.

Go to www.ar15.com

Go to the Armory section, scroll down a few lines, click on the GSG-5 section and you'll find 400+ topics on nothing but the GSG-5. Pic threads. Gripes, praises, mods . . . . good place for a quick education.

I saw and held one of the pistols at Tennessee Gun Country in Clarksville.

Not something I would want but different in looks for sure.

Tennessee Gun Country

1525-C Ft. Campbell Blvd.

Clarksville, TN. 37042

PH# 931-552-2118

FAX#931-552-2119

They give a discount to LEO's, military and retired military.

I have purchased some items from them but am not connected to them in anyway.

Anyone else had more experience with these? I saw one at Mahoneys yesterday and to me it seemed kind of low quality. Would really like to see some more feedback on them. I have watched a ton of videos on youtube and read several reviews which were all positive.

I have seen the pistol and the rifle version of the gsg-5 at a gun shop that i frequent out of state. They are both going for $439.
