suggested donation against Barney Frank

Recommended Posts

I've just made a donation to Sean Bielat's campaign. He's the first candidate with any chance of unseating Barney Frank in nearly 30 years. As everyone here should know, Barney has been an enemy of the second amendment for years. Not to mention all the other crap this moron is for and has promoted/caused, the least of which is our current economic situation.

I encourage everyone that can make a contribution to Mr. Frank's opponent. Sean is a stand-up guy and needs our help.

Throw the b**tards out!!

Rather than worrying about Senators from other States, I would prefer we go back to the old system...when Senators were appointed by the States they represent.

It's simple...you elect a goverment to run your state. They send the Senators to DC. Representatives remain elected by the people.

But that leaves out a whole tier of corruption. Anytime a position is appointed rather than elected, lobbyists shed a tear. And they're the "honest" ones.

Maybe one of these days. That would be one of the better modifications to the Constitution.

Also, that pesky one about taxes needs whacking and replacing.

Yes, yes repeal the 17th amendment. It's amazing how one little change can screw things up so badly. The senators are their to look after their individual states. The representatives are there to represent their constituents. It's called part of the check and balance system with the state ultimately holding the triumph card.

Until we wake up and start asserting our states rights, reacquainting ourselves with the process of nullification and interposition as our founders designed, we're never going to get control over the fed. govt.

I stay away from "nationalizing" state level elections. It is up to the people who actually live there. There's nothing hidden with Barney Frank, he lets it all hang out. I disagree with him all day long but I consider him to be a decent politician. You vote for Barny Frank and you know what you're getting. If you voted for, I dunno, Corker you got someone against the bailouts and someone who showed up when GM reopened a plant.

I prefer people who are consistent in their positions even when I disagree with the positions.

how the hell could any self respecting person vote for Barney Frank anyway?

I believe you may have pierced to the heart of the issue, Mike. Bawney Fwank is easily understood when viewed as a symptom of the greater problems that ail Massachusetts and her citizenry.

While I would generally agree with minding your own business so to speak relative to statewide elections, and not meddling in others decisions, but BF is a major problem for everyone not just his people in MA. We can keep our own house in order all we want, but it's his ilk that's screwing up things for everyone. If he can be taken out I'm down for helping do it.

I've never contributed to out of state races before this election cycle, but on the national level we're just not in a position here in Tn to make many waves. I've chosen three out of state races I'm backing with contributions because even though those candidates never visit TN, their incumbent opponents are sure screwing us all.

Guest Letereat!

Barney Frank, I dont care if he moves to France and becomes a politician I will always be willing to pay to eradicate his kind from politics. Unless of course he will champion all my causes with the same vigor.
