Definitely need more pics as well as specs on it. I see that is a SBC but there are also a conversion made to use a 32 valve Northstar V-8 in them. Had Pontiac decided to add a V-8 from the factory these would have been a serious competitor to the Corvette. I think Fieros are some of the better looking American sports cars made.

V-8 Archie made a living selling kits for these things.

V-8 Archie -- Pontiac Fiero V-8 Kits and Kit Cars

Not really sure if he is still in business but he is the "go to" guy for V-8 Fieros.

I have always wanted one because everyone I have ever spoke to that owned one said they were really fun to drive. I owned a 4 cylinder car and even though it wasn't quick it sure was fun around the corners.

Good God! I have driven the V-6 Feiro and that was scary enough. Super fun car to drive.

Scary, as in "this thing isn't fast at all", or scary, as in "this car is a rolling fire hazard?" :)

Is a V8 Fiero really that fast? They're around 300HP, right?

I think he Used "archies" kit. First came in with a bad vibration. 383 needs external balance. Told him take it home and redo. Then we got it tuned in with a automatic, but he had trouble getting shift points. So he just installed a 5 speed. I had trouble getting it to setup so go back to basics. Smoke test intake and found injector o-rings leaking bad. It is fun to fool with, distraction from normal cars.
