First off, I'm not in this picture.

As for the decorations comment, there is only one guy in there that I know got his awards and decs for a legitimate reason. Coincidently, its the same guy that is making the greatest face ever to dawn an af.mil website.

In general, the Air Force hands out Awards and Decs for absolutely nothing. People that don't even do their job get ****. I once stood at attention in commander's call so they could put a bronze star on an O-5 for setting up porta-****ters in Al Udeid, Qatar. All I could think about was, if I earned a Bronze Star I'd be taking my Bronze Star license plate (If I even got a license plate, which i doubt I would) back to the DMV for the vanity tag 'PPT O 10'.

Like I said before, he is an AF Training Instructor now. The wrinkles can quickly be replaced by a look as hard as stone. I can't help but smile when I think of him scaring the bejesus out of trainees while I know the real him. He is definitely making the AF better one flight at a time. I feel fortunate to call him friend.
