Job leads needed please

My wife was just laid off of her job, because they can’t bring in any business. This happened a week before her 3rd anniversary so they didn’t have to pay her vacation out, and they didn’t give her any severance. This is also 2 weeks after we had to replace the Sport Trac and the Focus spent a week at Two Rivers Ford getting a clutch and timing belt replaced.

So if anyone knows of a stable company that needs an admin, receptionist, secretary please let me know.

Sadly, the Nashville market has not been rebounding. It seems to be still shedding jobs (as your wife can attest to...) The flood was a kick in the teeth for the local economy, too.

IF she can get unemployment, do it. And go to a Tennessee Career Center (the South Nashville one is good - Nolensville Rd. - ask to visit with Theodore Stokes, he is one of the interviewers and easy to talk with. (FYI: Do not carry, state office.)

If she can file for unemployment, she can have access to the state's website for employment leads (many businesses post positions only there... strange, but true.)
