I had one last night. I know that this may have been a serious reply, but it made me laugh out loud.

Sounds like you are selling on LSN. There are some strange folks on that board. It seems like all the gun sellers want full retail(or higher) for their guns.

You wouldn't believe the stuff I get.

The response that irks me the most is "if that were X instead of Y I'd be all over it."

Now what is the point of posting or emailing that? The item is obviously NOT Y. If it were Y I would have said so.

That and the folks who email me for the "best price out the door" on something and then tell me they'll have the money next week/month/year.

The horse can make a great tax write off.

You can donate it to a university as it is technically worth about 5k.

Or, if you keep it, the monthly upkeep is only around $300

On the flip side of the argument, most universities will give away horses because they dont want to pay to keep feeding and caring for them. My father got his horse for $1 from one of the local universities.
