Where would I find?

I've been looking to buy some older mostly surplus firearms lately, 1900+ long guns and makarov caliber pistols or similar military goods and after searching through several websites (aimsurplus, SOG, etc) I was interested in shopping some local stores. Is anyone familiar with any gun shop/surplus stores dealing in those types of merchandise in the East TN area, mostly between Knoxville and Johnson city? Thanks in advance!

Get a C&R license and forget the stores in Knoxville. Order directly from AIM, SOG, etc.

As far as I know there are now stores in Knoxville that sale stuff like that. You occasionally see some mil-surp come through Gander Mountain, but expect to bent over and there won't be any vasoline. Garufa is coorect get your C&R license.

Ok thanks for the info guys, I'll look into my C&R. Other than AIM, SOG and Impact are there any other good sites I should be aware of?

Must agree with the guys above. All the retailers seems to want lots of cash for even the old surplus stuff. A C&R license is the way to go. In addition to the sites previously mentioned, J&G Sales usually has some interesting milsurp stuff. Their C&R stuff is located at C&R Guns . Enjoy!
