According to Glenn Beck our average voter turn out is 38%.....the highest ever was around 60% in the 1960's. Iraq's first elections drew 95%!....and that was at the threat of being shot by radicals while going to the booths.

We can all make a stand this November not just by voting conservative, but by showing up to vote at all. If we can get the numbers up to 60% again, I think the government will take note. I can't wait for November....then only 2 more years till this charade is over.

I really hope O'Donnell wins in Deleware...that will be a huge slap in the face to the Democrats. I look forward to the day when we have a Tea Party party in the government to rival the Republicans and Democrats. The democrats call them "activists"....while that has a negative connotation to it, I think it's great. We need people who are going to act and get things done, not politicians who are going to sign bills they don't read and do what's best for their wallets.

Obama wears me out with the calls to stop spending and how we need more taxes to pay for the wars Bush started....we'll buddy, spending un-precedented amounts of money then saying we need more taxes to pay for your spending just doesn't do it for me.

"Off year" elections are traditionally much lower and indeed are probably about 38%.
