If you have cable available, you're not in the boonies.

Out here amid the cows and coyotes, all we have is satellite or dialup.

I'm really enjoying the AT&T Uverse (Fiberoptic)!!!

J/K, that's a photoshopped image. The real result was 12mbps, but not bad when I pay for the 8mbps service. :)

Even in Clarksville I can't get better than 10-11, from Charter to CDElightband.

If you wanan try something, sometimes the closer server is sometimes slower than a server from further away....

For example, it says the jackson TN is the closest server for me. But if i go through dallas it goes much farther.

Do a trace route and find the first place it goes once it leaves your city. And try to do a server their.

My comcrap at home goes through dallas fist, so if i use that server, it is a lot faster.

We are 7 miles from town in a rural area. We didnt have cable out here until about 07. Prior to that all we had was satelite. Lots of farms out through here.
