Hey Guys ...

I'm a sig fan, no lie, but I have had the hardest time registering on that forum .... Registered, but I am still awaiting moderator approval = its now been 2 weeks +

Tried emailing the webmaster email, etc... with no luck. I'd like to be able to search model specific information, but can't because I'm not a full fledged member.

If someone IS a member there and would mind PMing the Moderators/Admin directly for me, I would surely appreciate it. My screen name on there is also "xRUSTYx"

Any help would be great appreciated!

Thanks Guys!

I tried but couldn't get on. I gave up. I also would like to be able to access their forums. It would be a good info site for sig owners "duh !". I've seen some comments on other forums about their attitude and how they don't want anybody but the "chosen ones'

I too am a member. I've seen comments here and there lately about it getting harder to get approved. I don't know if they are trying to constrain growth for bandwidth reasons or if there is some other reason. There doesn't appear to be any pattern that I can detect as to who does or does not get approved. I think that it may be that the mods are just really busy with their real lives...

I'm in the same situation you are, Rusty, except my application has been pending since August.

See, what doesn't make sense ... Some guy was introducing himself yesterday, and his "registered date" was Sept 15th (only 3 days prior) Which really doesn't make sense for you or me?

If this were true, I wonder how they pick the "choosen few" ?

totally understandable -- But being a guest & browsing still takes up bandwidth. That would only make sense if the forum itself was private until you became a member?

I am a memeber of Sig and have been for a few months. Was not aware of the problem with membership, but find it interesting. If anyone finds out what the problem might be please let us all know. The site does have some good info, but it would be nice to know if they are friendly.

I'm a Sig owner and have tried getting on there in the past too.

Finally just gave up. Useless.
