Matt Simms sucks. Dooley calls a fade route to the left to Justin Hunter and Simms does the exact opposite. Why? Because he is an idiot. Our high school quarter back here at Rhea County High School could show Simms a thing or two. Since we did not capitalize on that turn over I have a feeling that FL will run all over us now. If Simms sucks this bad then the back up quarter backs must really suck. This chump is a four year jr. He has played long enough to know better than to be making these idiotic mistakes. You got to wonder why papa phil has not given him more coaching the way archie did with peyton and eli.

I wouldnt worry too much, the Gators are doing their share of stinking the place up themselves. I knew there would be a drop off when Harvin and Tebow left but I did not know the team would suck so bad. And as far as play calling our coach is sure no genius with that either.

FL may have the lead but I think TN has played better so far.

This is sure quite different from the days when both teams were really good.

Agreed but that justin hunter dude was open on the fade to the left. Back in the day (majors and fulmer) era we would would have pounded the ball into the end zone from that distance instead of being stupid and throwing across the middle to a wide receiver that was not even open and looked to be double covered.

Yup that is all she wrote. I still think they sqaundered two opportunities and it was all matt simms fault. I think that dooley needs to take a looooooooong hard look at the quarter back position and perhaps make a change.

Well we may have won but I am certainly not impressed with the Gators, playing the way they have is not going to win squat. As for the Vols they can take heart in knowing that they have lost this game before and still won the East although they did not look so good either......Is it time for Spurrier and SC to finally win?

Sorry I could not resist, I wrote those words years ago and I know you dont want to hear the rest.

I'll shut up now and just say I dont think either of these squads look to be SEC Champ material this year. It is pretty bad when your teams best play is a fake punt. I do think both teams will get better, but it better be by a whole lot if they want to be of any significance this year. Even if TN dont do well this year they are still a very young team and I do think they will be MUCH better in a year or two and at the same time I think FL will decline over the same time period.

Simms did play awful. He holds the ball way too long and his throwing motion is horrible. But Bray is a 6'6 freshman that is under 200lbs. The roster says 210lbs but there is no way he weighs that much. If Dooley put him in he would get killed taking some of the shots that the big boys in the SEC lay on QB's. It seemed like we would take one step foward and two steps back all night long. At least they finished the game tonight. We will continue to improve and I still believe that we will win some big games this year. Congrats to the FL fans for a good win.

I mean, honestly, you have to think about where we came from. A school that lost most of it's 5 Star Recruits to Lame Kiffin. (Word has it that USC and their peeps don't like him because he's arrogant, AFAIK) I'm not blaming Lame, I know things happen, and I realize that it's part of the game. But going into this season, it was ALREADY a rebuilding year. Some true Freshmen on the O and D Line, and they hold their own pretty well, grant it they haven't won, except for UT-Martin, but they have held their own with 2 top ten teams for a bit. Don't chalk this season up yet, it's a learning experience for everyone. I mean, only one or two people have ANY EXPERIENCE in the SEC, and it's not the head coach or defensive coordinator. I'm still sitting here singing Rocky Top, because I bleed orange and LOVE TENNESSEE. It's a learning year for everyone. Hopefully, it will be a winning season, then watch out next year!!!
