'nother site I use is talking about a group buy.

Currently kicking around LRB forged aluminium stripped AR receivers.

They're having an overstock sale: $57 lowers, $60 uppers.

Anyone 'round here interested?

I can probably spare 60 bucks for a lower. I'm having some finacial problems right now so I probably shouldn't but hey, maybe by christmas i'll be able to buy a build kit for it... :D

I would love to do an AR build bit by bit when I have the money, but I wouldn't know where to go after step 1. :D

There is a ton of info on ar15.com. I lived on that site during my first few AR builds.

Aim surplus has lowers for $60 that you wouldn't have to do a group buy. Just a thought..would be easier to just order them. Just a suggestion. I'm not sure how the Surplus Arms lowers compare to the LRB's. I bought a LRB from widener's and the trigger pin was out of spec. I'm not sure if that is a common problem.

Except they have been out of them for about the last month...

Oh sorry about that! I should have looked closer.

Well a group buy would involve a FFL to receive them for you.

You would have to find one that would be willing to transfer you all of the ones you are getting for one transfer fee also, and not add a multiple firearms fee or something like that too.
