Come on out for a lot of fun trigger time. Five very good to great stages. Get some relevant practice in before the TN State USPSA match. Bring at least 150 rounds (and that's if you don't miss). It will be challenging and fun.

Hey, 2Alpha

Are you talking about the Oak Ridge Sportsman's Association? PM me if you are, please. I was curious if it is hard to get into, as I would really like to.

You can shoot there without being a member. From what I have heard becoming a member isnt hard. You just need a member to sponsor you and the board to pass it then take a orientation type class.

That's about what I understand from the searches I have done, but I have also heard by joining the NRA you can get in without a sponsor. But let's talk more about the first thing you said. How does one go about getting in without a membership?

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'm really interested.

anyone can come and shot in the matches they offer. IDPA 1st saturday. USPSA 3rd saturday, 3gun 3rd sunday, Steel 4th saturday. I think they have cowboy on the 2nd saturday. Let me know when you want to make one and if I am going we can meet up so you dont have to walk in alone and dont know what or where to go.

That's great. I'd really like just to go and watch, maybe participate a little later. The sad thing is that I'm busy every Saturday, so I'll have to take a rain check. Thanks, though. I appreciate it.
