My HCP Wait Time

Sent in paperwork and got fingerprinted 8/31, got my HCP in the mail today 9/16. Seventeen calendar days but it was only twelve working days since there was a holiday in there. I giggled like a little girl when I pulled the mail out of the mailbox and the only thing in there was an envelope from the TDOS.

i'm at 5 calendar days and 4 business days .... hopefully no more than another week or two .... i almost want to call Monday to see if everything went through smoothly ... hmmmm

haha .... I confess .... I actually called Friday to check up, but no one picked up on the other end. Truth be told, if someone would have, I likely would have just hung up!

Me neither... But with the State... It doesn't matter how much of a rush you're in.. They still gonna take their sweet time...

I was checking the mailbox on the first monday after I sent mine in... Daily... I got it and screamed like a girl when I did.. It was a Saturday... ahhh.. Memories.

I really should *savor* this time ..... i just can't.

I've already started to prepare. No more drinking when we go out to dinner .... checking for signs at the doors of restaurants ... feeling "unsafe" at the Little Ceasars pizzeria when a couple guys were sitting on the curb staring at me and the wifey ....

Did you call the number on their website? The way I understand it no one ever answers that line. You need to call two five one - eight five nine zero. That's the local line and someone will answer. I called Monday and they told me I was "in process". It was in the mailbox on Thursday. I have heard it said that a phone call to check up on it may possibly help to hurry them up a little. I don't know if it's true or not.

I was in Walmart yesterday, so yes, the Wally Walk is complete. One thing I did notice, I usually get really pissed off in Wal-Mart. Yesterday I was OK the whole time.
