hahaha nice but you know YOU want that easy 3,526 in one day's work....to change a flimsy strobe light bulb....think about how many guns you can get with that!

They don't have them hooked up the last 200 or so feet....

I just saw them attach a hook to the ladder rod like halfway between the strobe and the main ladder....and they just attached something onto the tower where the strobe was at....guess there's none between....

Nope... Nothing... It's free climbing...

Pretty crazy. By the way, I think the helmets are to keep your partner from dropping something on your head and knocking you out. That would suck for sure.

A member here, who use to post alot, Towerclimber.....imagine that, did/does this for a living.

Ok, no way. If a storm comes, keep going, you might be able to get over the top of it! LOL.

Why are they wearing helmets? It's not like its going to help.

That is crazy.

Speaking of Towerclimber ..... Where's he been lately?

Well, the video is shut off. I've done some climbing over the years. The main thing to keep in mind... anything over 50 feet won't kill you any deader. Unless you're just afraid of heights, you get used to it pretty quickly. For me, the scariest thing (the first time) was when I leaned back into my belt, and let go of the tower. I was never a rigger, and have only been up about 350 feet. Even that looks like a mile.

It takes alot to get me to do heights and it sucks because I love rock climbing (what little I've done). I just get to a certain point and start getting all woozy. It's not even so much that I'm scared mentally, but physically my body is just like "NO! NO WE ARE NOT DOING THIS!"

I'm a pilot and I'm TERRIFIED of heights...

I get shaky standing on a barstool.

But at 10,000' in solid IMC (clouds) I could never be happier. I love flying in the clouds where you can't see anything but the instruments. :(

As much as it pains me to say it, I am petrified of heights. When we went to Las Vegas last year, I could not force myself to get on either the roller coaster at New York, New York or the elevator that goes to the top of the "Eiffel Tower" at Paris. My family had to go without me.

I'm such a coward.
